Sadly, it takes a lot of money to run for any sort of
office in NYC or anywhere in the world for that
matter, and Norman doesn't have a spare 64-million
dollars. Fortunately, New York City has a matching
funds program that benefits candidates with a broad
range of grassroots support. If Norman can raise
125,000 dollars in contributions of $250 or less from
NYC residents by July 11th, he will receive a match on
these funds of four to one! While the Norman Siegel
campaign is very close, more funds are needed. The
matching funds will help Norman bring his vision for
the public advocate's office to New York City.
In case you don't know who Norman Siegel is or why he
would be the best possible person for the role of
Public Advocate, you can go to www.norman2005 where
there's a whole list of reasons why Norman kicks ass.
Help spread the word about this great event because
who doesn't want an excuse to see a great show, drink
beer and hang with their pals?
